SUMMARY:Bookworms: The Art of Rivalry book discussion (one morning)
DESCRIPTION:The art book club Bookworms is open to all members of WWG.  Our next meeting will be held on Saturday\, February 8\, at 9:30 am. \n\n\n\nWe will discuss The Art of Rivalry by Sebastian Smee. Smee has chapters on four pairs of artists: Matisse and Picasso\, Manet and Degas\, Pollock and de Kooning\, and Freud and Bacon. These are all artists that were instrumental in various stages of breakthroughs in modern art. Smee emphasizes friendship as well as competition and includes lively stories about these eight artists. \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in attending Bookworms and are not already on our mailing list\, send an email to bookworms@waterloowatercolor.org in order to be added to the list for notices. We move around to the homes of different members\, so each meeting will be held at a different location. This information will be sent to you in an informational email. \n\n\n\nThere are four meetings a year: February\, April or early May\, September\, and early November. DESCRIPTION:Janet Fulk is presenting her Neurograph Art Workshop for us again! \n\n\n\nNeurgraphic Art is a way for the conscious mind to talk to the sub-concious mind through images.
